B.J. Murrey - World Orphans, Central America

I realize that an update on ministry with World Orphans and life in general is long overdue and promise one to be mailed out before the end of the week. For now though, I am in Texas, spending some much needed R&R time, fundraising time and networking time while here. Since I drove up from Guatemala to Texas, I should have plenty of time to meet with everyone individually whereas in the past I haven't had that luxury.

So until the email update, here's the latest of the last few months:

Engaged, now not engaged, and single again.

Ministry-wise, 1 project  going forward with funding in Nicaragua, and pursuing another potential denominational partner there as well

One potential project in Guatemala no longer a possibility, while at least 2 new possibilities emerged.

Currently in the USA on a networking, fundraising and rest trip untill the end of August.

I probably don't need to let you know how much life has dealt many unforseen twists and hard turns over the last few months but I am excited about the future of my work with World Orphans and the progress being made (even now while I am in the USA) in Central America. It's always difficult starting a new thing where no-thing existed before, and my case has been no exception.

Every day I am reminded of how blessed I am for the supporters and friends I have as partners in life and ministry and can't thank you enough for your constant encouragement through the hard times lately and into the greener pastures.
