Consider this: They wonder why Christianity doesn't work and why it doesn't change lives and why it doesn't make a difference, and part of the reason is it's so rarely practiced. - Greg Kokul, Stand To Reason What a "world of difference" we would see if Christians did as much outside the doors of their church as they do inside, if instead of secluding themselves from the world they participated it it! My goal in life, as a Christian, is to be as thoughtful and reasonable as possible in practical ways. Said differently, I want my thoughts to influence my actions in real life. I want to be able to respond logically and reasonably to the objections to my faith that the world around me has, in a manner that reflects the attitude of Jesus himself. It is for this reason that I will be posting a new box in the left column of my site called "What I'm Reading". I invite you to pick up these books and read them as well, and dialogue with me about what you like or don't like, with what you agree or don't agree. Since I often have people ask me for suggestions on books of a certain topic, my goal is to, after having read each book, post a short summary about the way the book struck me and all it to be a resource for you.
